Stem type thermostat operates by opening and closing a snap-action switch in the load circuit. It consists of brass tubing which acts as a sensor for operating and as soon as the particular temperature is reached the switch opens and thus switches off the mains supply to the load. Once the temperature reduces, the switch reconnects so heating can resume.
APPLICATION
Within differential, the thermostat keeps the temperature of any fluid/system regulated by electricity, gas, oil, or air.
